19 listopada br. w siedzibie Instytutu Techniki Budowlanej zorganizowano seminarium pt. "Turning chaos into order - the use of scientific programming and big-data in civil-engineering science" na temat wykorzystywania zbiorów danych i ich przetwarzania na potrzeby publikacji naukowych, w trakcie którego wygłoszono m.in. następujące prezentacje: Matthew Boner, Imperial College London: "How we created KRESNIK - a top-down data-driven approach to understanding the fire performance of building facades", Wojciech Węgrzyński, ITB: " Simple ideas for stunning figures. How to improve the quality of papers by turning boring data into beautiful plots".
